Construction Management – Start to Finish

Newport Construction is providing Construction Management services for the $25 million Pacific Box and Crate project. This project at 1505 King St is the highlight of the continual expansion and relocation of businesses to the upper peninsula of Charleston. The project includes complete site demolition, new site infrastructure, interior demolition and renovation of an existing 80,000 SF warehouse into office space and a brewery/restaurant, a 13,000 SF office space addition to the warehouse as well as two free-standing 20,000 SF buildings which will house a restaurant as well as office space. Newport Construction has completed the preconstruction phase management of the asbestos abatement process, DHEC contamination plan approval process, the design team effort, budgeting, team value engineering efforts, city permitting timeline, SCDOT approvals, site communications infrastructure coordination and security and access design efforts.
